InterviewMocha_Story

This  is not just a story but an occurrence that can happen anywhere!

Once upon a time but not very long ago, in the far away land or very nearby destination known for global IT outsourcing, lived a young Software Engineer, Rahul. He was ambitious, talented and highly motivated and a true symbol of the entire younger generation. He was a trained Software Engineer working in the same field with a highly reputed Software Company.

Being in this field for quite some time, Rahul was well-versed with his job and with time his assignments became a monotonous routine. It was obvious that he was bored with his current job; hence started looking around for new challenging software development assignments.

After a lot of pondering over the issues and the monotony, he finally decided to explore the job market and in the process applied to many IT companies.

With the time, Rahul had certainly acquired some niche IT skills and was immediately called for interviews by some of the best IT companies in the city. He had to attend many personal interviews during the weekdays and to do so he opted either for casual leaves or took unofficial breaks for a few hours to attend the meetings. Rahul visited all the companies with a new zest and enthusiasm, he was very optimistic while attending the interviews but often faced a peculiar problem of not being interviewed for the right role and technology and he felt that ” I am wasting my valuable time by waiting at the reception or in the lobbies.

The experience was frustrating and Rahul had to face the disapproving looks of his boss as well as colleagues for being absent during official hours. He often wished that companies should at least read his resume properly before inviting him for the personal interview as it would save his and even the interviewer’s time.

Rahul was a very capable and creative Software Programmer with immense talent and large growth potential in his IT career hence not worried about the career but the bubbling ideas of doing something innovative and challenging made him think for several days and one fine day came a notion, which was like a ‘eureka’ moment. It was about utilizing the power of the Internet to make the hiring process more friendly and effective for the candidates and companies. Based on his first hand experiences, involving his friends, he developed an Online Interviewing Platform and started an Online Assessment Company -’iMocha’.
