We are rapidly moving into an era of using technology in Hiring. More and more companies are adopting pre-employment testing solutions to evaluate candidates efficiently. However, there are still some answer types like descriptive, video responses, creatives like designing, creating power point presentation, and so on that require manual evaluation.

To enable our customers analyze and efficiently evaluate candidates for descriptive answers, we have introduced the Reviewer Role under our Role-based access system workflow.

Who is a reviewer?

Reviewer is a skill expert who quantifies the answers of:

  • Essay questions
  • Coding questions
  • Translation questions or
  • Any questions where manual evaluation is needed

Why we built this feature?

In a typical scenario using automated skills test, candidates are often given coding assessments or MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) wherein they are scored on the basis of a predefined answer already added in the system. But what about where candidates are being assessed for roles like Content Writer, Designer, etc. their skills cannot and should not be assessed through MCQs.

For this reason, we have built the reviewer role. Reviewers can read and analyze the answers in-depth and score the candidates.

How reviewing report enriches the assessment process?

Instead of generic questions, you can quantify the hands on skills of the candidates. The candidates on the other hand, get a chance to showcase their skills in a better way. Reports are assigned to multiple reviewers and the final score is average of all reviewers’ scores. Multiple reviewers mitigate any biases while ensuring that an assessment is thoroughly and efficiently analyzed.
